The journey from high-level concept to finished web experience can be as circuitous as Bear Grylls’ 2007 paramotoring adventure over the Himalayas. But when Discovery Channel engaged Black Mercury to redesign their international television programming site, the last thing they wanted was a meandering journey. They needed to reach their goal of addressing an international web audience quickly, and with a minimum of side trips. We moved methodically and deliberately from sketch, to wireframe, to color comps, to interactive prototype. With blue laser precision, we executed this award-winning design on schedule and under budget.
