Like many companies, Welocalize’s homegrown enterprise software was at the heart of virtually all its operations. From billing to client management, to project planning, and even HR, the software did it all. But after decades of incremental improvements and software workarounds, it had become a tangled UX nightmare. In one of our most complex and comprehensive deployments, Black Mercury became embedded with Welocalize global management and operations to rethink and re-architect the software’s functionality and user experience. Over the course of a year, and after hundreds of interview hours and pages of documentation, Black Mercury created the blueprint for an entirely new, innovative, and powerfully intuitive system.
